My main point is that focusing on the James Bond part of the clue may lead to false impressions on what the new gun class will be. Especially since in both times they hinted the title was the actual hint. Not the franchise.
Otherwise come December, everyone convinced themselves it Agent class and it turns out it completely different.

Man with the gold gun = Chemist.
Because alchemist was a gun wielder type in FFX-2. Alchemy is heavily connected to gold. Therefore the golden gun. Already have Alchemist within the game, Chemist can also be known as Alchemist. Therefore Chemist.
