I can't say that I am happy. I wanted Thief but they crush my dreams of that. I wanted Dark Knight but they make it a tank. My 2 favourite jobs ruined for me. Tanking in this game just does not appeal to me at all.

Yeah seeing as how DRK is just going to be DRK, Whether people want it or liked it in XI.....he could be opening the door to a possible sub-class system down the road. Would make our options interesting like it did with XI. Not saying this should turn into that system. But it would be neat.
its not just that...it would also help the job feel more unique..you basicly only have those 5 skills that make the job atm.... they could also allow job to wield more than one type of weap (tho judging from Drk they wont, one can hope)Yeah seeing as how DRK is just going to be DRK, Whether people want it or liked it in XI.....he could be opening the door to a possible sub-class system down the road. if Drk was from lets say war..it would have the same skills save from like 8-9 skills (depending on how many xpack gives us)
Well, I wanted it to be DPS but this just means that when I level it up I'll get insta queue.
Does this mean SAM will be DPS? (When it comes out)
I actually don't like that DRK doesn't have a class. I feel that the system should be consistent, one or the other (no class system or classes for everyone). Arcanist had 2 jobs branched off of it, so it wouldn't be impossible.
No leveling involved, "You buy Wrath of the Lichking, type in your registration code, and you can definitely be a Death Knight from the beginning".
Yoshi, maybe just go work for Blizzard and stop trying to turn the Final Fantasy franchise into another WoW.
There is essentially no difference between a class+job and a job unless the class splits to two jobs.
I think it's neat that you start as a common thing in the game, gladiator, archer, thaumaturge or whatever and then, because you're badass enough, get to be a sweet rare job thing.
There's a lot more neat potential in classes and jobs than simply having jobs. Oh well, guess it's too hard.
I'm kinda sad Dark Knight is a tank just because I think that makes it less likely Samurai is.
