I was not expecting Drk to be a tank... and was only a little disappointed because I wanted to switch from tank main and be a lazy DPS for Drk Drk totally fits as a tank though, and I'm looking forward to it. Guess my WAR will switch for DRK, and my MNK will switch for NIN.

The big thing that I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned yet is about the no base class... I'm really hoping I'm wrong here, but this could very well mean that they are adding new soul crystals to existing classes. It would make sense for a MRD to Equip a GS and a DRK soulcrystal... I just hope I'm wrong because I really don't want to be a lvl 50 DRK as soon as the expansion releases.

As for the QQ from the "it ruins the class" crowd, FFXI ruined DRK. Making it a tank with a greatsword is bringing it back to glory. I for one, can't F*kin wait!
