European Servers being moved to Europe

This type of ignorance makes me wish we could downvote. Do you Americans forget that one of your STATES (Alaska) is farther north than most of Canada? Go check a map for what constitutes North America. HINT.. it's everything north of Colombia INCLUDING Canada...

I just mixed up country and continent, yeesh. It was 4:44 AM when I posted, I'm tired (you should notice I said US not NA). >_> Also it's one thing to be slightly annoyed about that kind of ignorance, but you're over-exaggerating. It is needed. In other games with servers in EU if you have a decent net you can get like 20-40 ping and that's a huge diference. You can notice the lag a lot in stuff like PvP. I know tons of people including me that wouldn't be able to play without a VPN to lower it and even then it goes down to like 70ms and that's more than i usually get playing any other game without any extra service.

I hope this is true. I play with an average 170ms-200ms and while I don't consider this as a big problem it's still a problem. I pay the same amount of money as Americans and so I demand my "european" servers to be located in Europe. If they do this I will be very happy. I was about time if they want this game to further succeed and grow in Europe.

The thing is though, the difference you get between your regular latency and the 70ms you get when using a vpn; you may still be getting as extra even with a server placed in Europe. A lot of latency issues people are currently having is not so much related to the servers being located in Canada, but due to other networking issues.

The reaching Canada part from Europe is swift and easy. Routing issues within the European landmass pose the biggest delay.

Based on my personal experience in other MMO and FPS games German servers are the top quality, have little to no lagging and much less chance to get disconnected

That would mean no more random hits from Primals like Titan, no more slow opening menus (teleporting, boats etc etc) and also more snappy skill responsiveness
