Only part I get a good chuckle at in regards to some of the vanity recipes are that near the high end of difficulty, are people that pay the extra gil for the HQ version. For the new glowey primal weapons, yea, I can see wanting HQ for that since it makes an "ok" weapon. But why would you fork over nearly double the gil for an HQ coeurl bikini?

It's like buying a designer brand or something, if I had to make an analogy. I doubt anyone's going to the Market Boards and saying "This particular Nightgown sucks because it's NQ" or anything but it's definitely more appealing to some people to get the one with the shiny symbol on it. This 100% hey it's easy everything's easy now give me 5mill marriage stuff needs to be all quest. Not hey lets get players to make the dresses n what not how bout you need to be at least 45 then the quest makes you and your other kill stuff together to make the outfits like bring parts to npc in game to make them ppl say it's easy but wait till it comes out i bet. I actually forgot about that. You can get up to 12 a day if you do both rank 5 and 6 dailies. That makes these new pieces of gear even easier to get, and...

As a crafter myself that *might* consider making some of this gear (provided I can get my hands on the master books if the recipes are found there), if I see someone trying to price the Best Man/Bridesmaid's pieces that high I'd laugh. A lot. Judging from the materials required they are worth nowhere near that much...unless someone actually wants to buy it at that price.

Those items are pretty damn easy to get, in contrast to the crescent moon cone or how expensive it was to get the sailor outfit within the first months, floss silk is still around 700k in my server. You can gather all mats yourself and ask a crafter to make these items for you if you dont have the required class or don't meet the required stats.

Waste of knots for longterm crafters/gatherers. Already need 108 days of knots to get everything Artisan/Forager.

These...aren't that hard to get. Getting your desynth high enough to break down what's needed to get II's is pretty easy, and the mats for vanya silk are easy to get since the current patch. Twinthread haven't been hard to get for a couple of patches, now. Knowing how other vanity recipes are, I'm actually kind of surprised (and glad) how relatively easy it is.
