Weapon dyes?

"The following changes and additions have been made to the Item Dyeing window:
-The category "Armoury Chest (Main Hand/Off Hand)" has been added to the item filter dropdown menu."

As far as I can recall, no main hand/off hand can currently be dyed. That includes shields. So why would they put a category for it in the drop down menu of the dyeing window? I can only assume we will get to dye weapons soon.

I wish, it's hard as hell to find a shield that matches the rest of my gear. Firs world problems. ; - ;

Chocobo dieing wasn't that bad.
I got both results I wanted on either my first or second go arounds, and I liked there was more involvement than "Splash some paint on yer burd".
That said:

Bring on the weapon dieing system.
More options really never hurt.

Or maybe they're just letting us dye shields now, in the same way anything else can be dyed?
