[PETITION] Remove daily post limit and 1000 character cap

I agree, this is silly and should be removed. Also, other languages like French are languages that are much longer, with one sentence in English, once translated it makes a paragrah, hence how 1 book in English ends up once translated 2 books. The forums also has other languages beside English and Japanese, like French and German, which are both long languages, it's hard to write then with such a limit. It's much easier for me to express myself here in English because I can say a lot with a few words, than in French in the French section where I would need to write an essay, but cannot anyway. I'm bilingual but many are not.

I think the limits were put in place because of the non-Japanese propensity for spam. I mean, it's been noted that the Japanese forums have by and far less threads, less posts, and more liberal use of the Like system. Conversely, we have three threads right now on the front page all saying effectively the same thing. And people are prone to repeating threads just to have a thread on the front page that's 'new'. We kind of did this to ourselves because of our desire to all be special snowflakes. I'm fine with the limits, it's rare that I ever run afoul of them.

I thought it was because in Beta forums every troll and trollville spammed the living hell out of it and it was a mess.
I don't think 1.0 forums had limits...but I think after over a year, the forums is not as nearly as bad as the Beta forums.
It was horrible lol.
