    Okay, I don't know if this part was in the prelim patch notes or if this was stated already in this thread, but...

    Players who select Withdraw from the Duty Ready confirmation window or allow the window to time out without making a selection three times or more in one day, will be temporarily prohibited from registering for duties via the Duty Finder.
    Do you know what "or more" means? That it will be possible to withdraw more than three times, but hey they also said "temporarily prohibited", connect the dots and what do you get? After the third withdraw you will have a short lockout, after the short lockout you still can withdraw and still get locked out.

    To dumb it down a bit more, you have 3 withdraws with no penalty, after that every withdraw will have a penalty until the counter resets and then you will have three free withdraws again, this penalty will probably be just a few minutes, less than the penalty for joining and leaving (otherwise people would exploit that penalty).

    I personally expect something like 5 minutes, any higher than 5 and people will start entering instances and asking to be vote kicked.

    I'm not a fan of the change in the way they are implementing it. I'd say 3 times in a short period maybe..... and here's me reasoning for why this is a BAD thing

    I hit queue... OH @#$@#%~ I clicked the wrong thing to queue for... withdraw

    STRIKE ONE!

    queue time says 12 minutes... ok.. I'm gonna go tot he bathroom or go get a drink or snack... come back 5 minutes later to see you missed your queue.

    STRIKE TWO!

    no all it takes is for something like that or some other reason and you are now done playing the game for 24 hours... REALLY BAD REALLY, REALLY BAD


    I know there's a problem with the queue's, but 3 times a day? there have been times where I've queued up and noticed I clicked the wrong dungeon. or I had "join in progress" selected or not selected the way I wanted so I immediately would hit withdraw. maybe 3 times in a 3 hour window or something? maybe 5 times in a day.

    or hey maybe a after the 3rd time you get incrusting blocks 3: 5 mins 4: 10 mins 5: 15 mins: etc
    please show me where it say the lock out is 24 hours?(you wont find it). 3 times or more in one day. meaning the lockout is logically shorter than 24 hours.

    Yes, let's just stand idle whilst standing in a DF queue for 15 ~ 30 minutes. As that is the way the game is meant to be played. The entire 3 strikes within a 24 hour limit is quite simply put a terrible choice. It's by far too easy to achieve 3 misses during a longer play session. Very little thought went into this decision, in an attempt to just get a few ST running QQ'ers to shut up without realizing possible implications for legit players who miss accept buttons as they're mid-crafts, briefly AFK while their timer said they had an average of 15 minutes to go still, etc.

    SE should think things through and either:

    1) greatly reduce the time frame in which points are allocated, to something around 60 minutes rather than 24 hours.
    2) reset the given points upon successfully entering a dungeon.
    3) let the "join in progress" toggle actually join in progress dungeons only, so people wouldn't be fishing in the first place.
    4) greatly extend the accept timer to around 3 minutes ensuring ongoing activities can be finished.

    Well that's a relief to hear. So is it a 30minute lockout everytime you leave the duty? I don't understand how the 24hr lockout works with that.
