While it is annoying to have people withdraw I dislike this change there has been times where I had to go to the bathroom and missed the window so now pretty screwed if oh say go to the bathroom, someone interrupted your playing time, or you went to make something to eat in the kitchen.

All three of those would have to happen to be a problem though, at which point the issue may have been you queuing at inopportune times. And even if that did happen, you just get a 30 min lockout, which isn't a huge issue.
As others have said in this thread, but should be reiterated a million more times, this will really only affect in-progress fishing.

The only people who should be offended by this new and WELCOME change, are those who used to consistently withdraw from duty, or those looking up Lalafell rule 34 while in queue and become too caught up to see their dungeon queue's rdy.

The withdrawal counts towards everyone in the party, not just the person that withdrew. Had it happen to my group today running dungeons to lvl rog/nin. People in the party had to withdraw for various reasons and when we hit the third time we all got penalized with a 30 min lockout even though it was different people that did the withdrawing.

I actually withdrew twice today cause I realized I queued for the wrong thing and had to cancel out. I think 3 times in 4 hours would be better.

Not to be unkind, but this is a very avoidable mistake, especially since you can now view at the bottom of the selection window a list of duties you've checked. If players regularly fail to realize their mistake until the confirmation prompt appears, they should probably start being more careful in the interest of saving a little time for themselves and for others.

Everyone derps once in a while, but it takes more than one or two blond moments before the penalty kicks in.

I agree. The penalty is fine with incomplete parties, but too harsh for premade. Like they seriously couldn't pinpoint which members were timing out?

Just finished doing duty helping ls mate clearing Qarn HM. Said my farewell since I wanna do Snowcloak since my buddy still doing his main story. Lo and behold, I got penalized for 30 minutes saying I abandoned duty, which I didn't recall doing any for today. And I'm not even the party leader too, my buddy is.

This is load of bullshit. Sent several tickets already and no answer.

If you did not exit it via the abandon duty, vote kicked or end of dungeon exit feature then yes you would of got penalized, you would of got so even before this patch because that penalty existed before too.
