It means you can no longer do other stuff while waiting for DF because if it pops up mid craft you get the choice of not being able to do DF for the day or losing your materials. Thanks.

When does a craft ever take longer then 45 seconds?
I was queue as my mnk for the last 2 week in low level has it is just 22. Well waiting in the 20+ min queues I would do my daily crafting quests. I often did 2 crafts then hit the duty finder with 5 + seconds left. So 45 seconds is enough to finish one craft.

Huzzah! Good news indeed. How did I miss this in the patch notes? haha That's what I get for skim reading. I love it.![]()
okay then in that case guess what. im afking in the dungeon until im kicked im not getting punished for using the system when something comes up in real life that takes priory then you will have a decison afk in a dungon or leave withdraw which would you prefer a full team in a dungon or partial team
So you become part of the problem to prove a point. Logic! And totally not selfish that will totally not get other people mad at you
Guess what, sweetie? Make all the excuses you want, but the world does not revolve around you. You signed up for a duty? Everyone will expect you to be ready. You're part of the team whether you like it or not. Cry about people being selfish all you want, but no one will take your excuses if you keep withdrawing and holding up the progression for everyone else. If you really had an emergency pop up, chances are you are going to be gone longer than the time out penalty anyway. If you really had an emergency, you wouldn't be so "worried" about sitting in time out. No one cares if you had other things to do because we all sat through the queue process and no one gets special treatment. If I have to leave for whatever reason, then I will do so and go through the waiting process again.
Suck it up or finish your business before signing up. Simple!![]()

no it dosnt revovle around me nor does it revovle around your progress world so shouldnt be a punishment period the only diffrences is u complain that its holding up your progress well then dont PROGRESS USING THE DUTY FINDER THATS WHAT THE PARTY FINDER IS FOR

Still not getting the part where it's defensible to ignore or deny queue confirmation windows 3 times in a day without penalty to discourage abuse.
You do understand that the vast majority of players who see this penalty will be those who grief the queues; the rest of them will either be the unluckiest people imaginable, physically ill, or unbelievably flaky.

um a day is 24 hours you realize this right 3 times a day lock out isnt even a logical enough strikes because 24 hours alot of things can come up out of no where to force someone to withdraw 7 to 8 times reason FOR LOGICAL REASONSStill not getting the part where it's defensible to ignore or deny queue confirmation windows 3 times in a day without penalty to discourage abuse.

even i have weeks where i have to withdraw 11-12 times for a logical reason

That means the lock is not an issue for you. If you so busy on other things maybe you return to your gaming console when lock have already expired and you don't even notice it happened. If you every time go to play just after 5s the lock happened, I'm inclined to not trust your reasons and thinking you are one of the people that SE (and myself) want punish.
Except signing up for duty is progression, whether it's for your relics, tomestones, Animus books, story progression, etc. No one runs dungeons for no reason or no rewards attached. Everyone shares an equal responsibility from sign up to the final boss dropping dead. But going from what you just posted, you're telling me that I have no right to use the duty finder for progression because...there's something else that does the same thing in a new skin. Duty finder is a quick match of sorts and if people abused the sign up mechanics for it, then there's really little point to use it. Hence why Square is installing penalties for withdrawing too many times when the ready window pops up.
So yes, duty finder does revolve around progression, sweetie. We all sign up together to beat content for whatever our goals are.

The only people who can be so upset about this have to he the ones who abused it. I only queue as dps and rarely have less than 5 minutes queues for anything. Usually much longer. During that wait I can't really do anything. Especially once it starts popping only to have withdraws for the next 20 mins. I have to stop what I'm doing every time it pops hoping someone doesn't withdraw. This will be a godsend for dps.
But with that said the first week or so is going to be a lot of complaining about it. People doing the story quests and getting stuck in cut scenes when the DF pops. Because I know I could be in queue for an hour but as soon as I'm in a cut scene DF will pop. Every. Freaking. Time. So you either have to skip a cut scene and miss out and watch it later or miss your DF queue and risk getting locked out for the day. That's the only downside.
