I wonder what if it is counted as one "withdraw" when it pops a 0/4 dungeon in progress and you do not accept it... ^^;

we will have more people that enter and sit doing nothing until they are kicked....not sure this is going to help anyone. I prefer by far someone removing himself prior entering then someone that dont want to be there but will avoid the one day ban enter and wait to be kicked.
Nice job guys ! you sure got what you asked for *lol*

I could only got that's it's a dps that goes afk and hopes for a vote kick. I'll do the whole dungeon without them. And with only one dps, it'll take extra long
People fishing for in progress duties would be stupid to try and AFK troll over and over again, wasting time waiting for queues and loading screens and crafters/people doing other stuff wouldn't bother going into duty and asked to be kicked just so they can finish what they were doing originally because....why not just finish the task and rejoin the queue after?
The daily hunt is a tricky thing. As if a pop queues and another player is attacking it, you may not be able to run away from it without it counting as griefing. If you happen to have aggro, and reset it by running away to make your dungeon pop. You're violating the FFXIV ToS by griefing.
The treasure map you may run away from if a pop would occur. However, you've lost your treasure map in the progress.
Minimize the game and go to youtube, yes, that's an option. However, is that really the option we should be looking for? Is it right for SE to punish players in participating in ingame activities whilst waiting for a queue to pop? As that's exactly the message SE is giving out right now. I think not. And therefore I also highly disagree with this change. And I'll make sure enough that SE understands that as well. Every single occasion during which I run into a lockout penalty as I missed a pop due to a timer running out whilst I was in the midst of e.g. a craft, treasure map, tanking a hunt mob, cutscene, fishing, etc. I'll be submitting tickets to the support desk to advocate change.
And change can be multiple things. A less stringent lockout penalty reset, e.g. rather than 24 hours have it reset after entering a dungeon. A wait button to be added to the instance popup allowing for a player to extend their timer. Or simply remove it all together and tackle the most common reason for people to withdraw from queues to begin with, fishing for an in-progress queue, by adding a "join in-progress only" toggle box.
I for one am rejoicing at this feature since there will be no more 15-20 min games of queue popped tag. As I said in another thread, there should be no legitimate reason that you have to withdraw 3 or more times In one day.
If you're crafting, stick to menial recipes that you can afford to lose such as 1-49 40 dur recipes, why even try to do anything with rare mats or that is 2 star or higher while in a queue?
If you are alt+tabbed? For the last freaking time, there is an option to hear game sounds while game is in background, you can also mute everything else but system sounds, and even turn off tell notification sounds, so again, no excuse.
You have kids bugging you, trying to make dinner, finish the laundry and your work called and needs you teleconference over a major issue that recently cropped up.... just log off, really. If your day has spiraled into anything similar, you should really focus on resolving said issues then coming back to game.
You're boooooooored, store up your crafted mats that are needed in bulk, go gather some shards/crystals, talk to your FC, talk to your LS, do the trash portion of daily bill, grind FATEs for ATMA, grind dropped mats. If none of that appeals to you, alt+tab and read forums, watch youtube, check what your friends/family are doing on FB, check up on the news, play fantasy football, look up lulcatz, watch netflix, read a book, write a book, learn a new language, use the random page link on wikipedia.
Yes, this feature is needed to solve the issue with duty fishers, and yes the issue is bad enough that SE had to step in to fix it. The duty fishers that caused this issue were driving away more subs than this fix will by stepping on a few snowflakes toes.
As you may otherwise be completely wasting your own time? Recent queues for RDPS on low level roulette have gone up to roughly 20 - 25 minutes again. And certain dungeon selections go as high as 35 - 40 minutes. Missing one of such dungeons by itself already is annoying enough. If SE would then also come to expect players to simply throw away their crafting mats as a pop came up, or stick to quick crafts only during all that time, they're just flipping the finger to legit players.
So you arn't willing to throw away mats for a steel ingot, over whatever it is your queued up for? Then why the hell are you queud for it anyway? I am also well aware of the various queue times for all roles since I play most of them throughout the day, and you know what? I find myself more bored out of mind while waiting on a FATEs for animus books, than I do waiting for queues. For queues I can find any number of menial tasks to take up my time, for that FATE I'm stuck in one spot waiting for it to spawn, if i'm lucky I can wait inside FATE radius and alt+tab while waiting for FATE music to start, other times local aggro wont allow it.As you may otherwise be completely wasting your own time? However if you insist on crafting your augmented cashmere robe while queued for daily expert...

oh so is safe, you are in the mid of a map, your dungeon comes up, you have two choices, three really,
1) stop what you are doing
2) refuse to enter
3) finish what you are doing and if not in time well see point 1
all 3 will result in a day lock ou if you have done it more then 3x during the day
Which you going to choose?
Besides, what happens if you get a 90k error? or you confirm but for a reason unknown you cant enter ? I have that error many times, what then? Technically, it could happen 3x, even if just a mere probability, still a possibility.
People complain on those that refuse to enter when the windows appear, but are ok with the kick players because of their faces....I am just baffled..
I dont think that people entering just because they dont want the 1-day lock out applies solely to a DPS solely, in fact I am pretty sure that if there was a statistic we would be extremely surprised as to who is doing it more.
