    What about the other removed behaviors that the vast majority do seem to want to see returned, such as the conditional aggression on Efts, and enemies that 'sensed our presence before attacking' and the like?

    And.. I don't suppose by some miracle you might be able to tell us at what point, or after what set of planned fixes and changes, we might see these 'liveliness additions', can you?
    As they say, don't shoot the messenger -- Blame those who continually complain about everything for absolutely no reason. "Oh noes my AoE will hit a goat! Remove their curious nature SE!" Fixes come when they come, you can't plan it, because then if a delay happens, you have disgruntled people, hence why more and more companies (even outside of gaming) are now on a "when it's finished" mantra.

    I know, I know.. thus the lack of attack or so. I really was just making inquiries. I don't really expect a proper reply, it's a bit beyond a community rep's remit I fear - but it can't help asking, right? Besides, it'd be nice to see specific address for our other concerns, too; like the other remove behavior traits, for instance.

    personally I just found it fucking annoying!! having bloody mob of goats and crap following you around while your trying to do a leve or whatever...

    I think that could be fixed by making it so curious monsters run away if a character pulls their weapon out or already has their weapon out.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.     Thanks for the reply, I understand the need to kill off the curious AI monsters behaviour but hopefully they can bring at back to an extent to where the monsters at least occasionally target you so they at least swivle their heads around a bit.

    Fantastic. People will complain about what has been removed already but the dev team should focus on simply making the system good, whether that means bringing back some old behavior (like eft sound aggro) or adding new ones in.

    Personally I'm glad to see the super curious behavior gone, sure you could manage it but you shouldn't have to. There are some AoE heavy classes like Marauder who start tossing out AoEs like crazy when in Steadfast. That quickly becomes very annoying for anyone trying to use their AoE moves on groups of monsters. It wasn't really adding anything constructive to the gameplay.

    However making monsters more lively by adding in different types of aggro, noticeable behavior patterns in battles with ways to exploit them and other general quirks I feel that would definitely help things.

    That's perfectly reasonable. Aldgoats can perhaps follow you around, but the moment you display any sign of aggression (draw weapon, etc), it runs off.

    Anyway... glad to see some Dev attention on this!

    So basically dumb people who couldn't play without just spamming attacks without looking at the situation removed something that was a good feature.. lovely

    It would be good if you could have them follow but keep a distance?
    It was a great feature that I'd love to see back in some form, even if it has to be worked on for those less well.. yeah...

    This is a very poor idea that was thrown around way too often before the curious enemies were taken out. AOE abilities are a large part of a lot of classes and it was idiotic to have 7 enemies right up your butt preventing you from playing efficiently and sometimes outright causing you to die during leves. It was especially bad for MRD because Steadfast affecting a lot of their moves changing their AOE. It was a gigantic pain in the ass no matter if you were a good or poor player.
