That is the exact text from the patch notes. attack speed did affect the GCD I thought???? Am I wrong on this????? It does not say auto attack speed

Skill speed and attack speed are different. Look at fey light from selene, it specifically says increases skill speed.

So I looked up the ability text for greased lightning for monk and it states this:

Additional Effect: Grants Greased Lightning for 12s.
Greased Lightning Bonus: Increases damage dealt by 9% and attack speed by 5%.

They call it attack speed there as well, and I thought that the GCD for monk was affected by greased lightning. Can anyone else confirm or deny this?

Yes it affects the GCD directly when it says atk speed. Idk what the other poster is trying to say.
