That's assuming you can get each minion by both means.

Some of them minions look pretty easy to get, like there are some that probably from the hilidabrand quests which are always easy.

Gonna bet that Littlefoot drops in Snowcloak, Mummy drops in Qarn, and the Untalking Colibri drops in Sastasha F: yay <1% drop rates!

None of the known cash shop items shows up on the item list, so that's the last place I'd think of really.
We do go back to Uldah for the main story quest for a short time, so maybe then? (maybe we get to kick that two-faced taru's face in) None of the post-moogle quests seem to fit. No idea what the Edelweiss Edelweiss quest is but the questgiver is from the Brugaire Consortium which is based in Uldah so that's a possibility too. And if not there or there then maybe hunt/soldiery vendor ^_^;
