Am I the only one bothered by gliding?

Just for reference, they're even further lowering animation locks on Dragoon's jumps because of how much animation lock gets people into trouble. People need to be able to move at will the majority of the time for the mechanics in this game.

If that means a little gliding, then I'll take it.

People seem to forget how long those dragoon jumps took. To the point where most of us stopped using them with the majority of content. Took 10 seconds to come down from the sky! A lot can happen in that time frame with some fights! But the jumps now aren't bad. Still, I'll take gliding anyday.
