24 hour penalty for withdrawing frontlines?

Hey guys. I have a question about the 24 hour penalty for withdrawing a queue. Does it affect the frontline queue aswell? Just wonder because frontline starts no matter how much people withdraw and new people can now jump in before the gate opens.

Its just you know how long fl queues can be and sometimes i withdraw it because it needs an eternity to pop.

I believe it only affects withdrawing when there is a pop, but I'm not 100% sure.

I also don't know if it dings you if 1 person in your group didn't click commence, or if it only dings that one person.

If its the same as dungeon DF then yes withdrawing while queue is popped you get a strike.

And if you are in a PT and 1 person in that PT hits withdraw or misses queue pop the whole PT is given a strike. So Ready Check then queue is best option.

Have you confirmed this? Seems pretty harsh and I'd be surprised if this is how it works, especially as sometimes queues can be 20+ mins and one person could also end up trolling using this to lock out the rest of the group for the day.

Ready checking then queuing only really works if you get the pop within 5 mins. Even my new method which is prep text messages and send them out frantically when it pops (before even checking if people have clicked) fails sometimes when the delivery guy shows up at the wrong time. Would be a lot better if we could just have the leader pull everyone in or those that don't click get left behind and can queue in progress.

@Blubbers, sorry I don't know for sure that everyone gets the strike, just what I have read from other posts on these forums. I do not agree with this, only that person who didn't commence should be given the strike, not the whole party.

Yep I'm completely with you Woggers. I might test this out for science later -> I'll withdraw twice for some other duty, duo queue for frontlines and have my friend withdraw, then see if it lets me queue again (we'll queue in progress solo after the withdraw so as not to leave the team behind). I'll let you guys know when I get around to testing it.

As a note, you do not get a penalty for the entire day but you get it for 30 minutes, the same as dropping a duty. If you dodge again you do not get 3 strikes and will be given another 30 minute penalty right away.

The daily reset makes it so you get three strikes before lockout again, that is all.
