Don't worry, you won't have problems nuking healers (if people bother playing them anymore). Every cast being canceled by each attack received plus less heals allowed, you're just a walking target.Well BLMs get rather fucked in Frontlines after this patch. Effectively only making swiftcast useful for sleep.
...why SE. Just why. We cast slowly in the first place, swiftcast was damn near necessary to make that finishing blow on a healer. We're a nuke class, and you took the ability to effectively use Flare away from us.
oh my god some of ninja's moves are downright broken in effect / potency O_O
Everycast being canceled by attacks also apply to BLM. Which was his point because blm is literally useless if one person attack it.
I was hoping this patch would allow firestarter to stack twice but i guess the devs like the idea of fire weaving being the only way to not waste firestarter proc
Well the first issue is comparing it to FFXI. Sneak attack is a 500 pot attack when stealth and in front of the target.. Trick is only 400 when behind. SATA isn't back but when soloing or PvP SA is going to be a nice opener. So now Sneak attack is an attack while sneaking and trick attack debuffing the target.NIN and ROG's changes to Sneak and Trick Attack confuse me.
In XI, which is where a lot of their moves are from, Sneak Attack took effect when you stood behind the enemy, as per the name; Trick Attack occurred in its entirety when you stood behind someone else attacking the enemy..

I think it depend what their weapon's damage is gonna be and the cooldown on their mentra.
but it seems like the devs gave them everything. big damage. attack speed. movement. stun. silence. offgcd attacks.
This has the potential of being wow's deathknight disaster if their weapon's damage is high enough
I play all 3 of them, BLM, WHM and SCH in PvP. I know it applies to every caster, BLMs however arent focused by 4~5 dpsers all the time making a whole class completely nulled because even if you use Equanimity, you'll get stunlocked, silenced and pushed (if not LBed). BLMs can kite around while using Scathe and I've never been focused that badly as BLM, rarely happens. In fact I usually get 100k+ damage dealt because they're busy zerging healers. My latest record was getting a cast canceled with a 20 damage (stoneskin) attack on me, so it probably is caused by being attacked, not damage dealt, which is bs.Everycast being canceled by attacks also apply to BLM. Which was his point because blm is literally useless if one person attack it.

They keep nerfing healers because several healers in a single party is too op, but at the same time every nerf applied makes a party the need of more healers to be efficient. People then will complain is too op still, and more nerf will come, making more healers needed even more, and so on. Until they completely disable the posibility to queue as a healer/switch class inside to healer I guess.

Kind of hard not to..when it's the same 2 abilities minus the enmity transfer lol. The other FF games didn't have frontal/rear attacking mods.
Yeah, I'm not debating their usefulness now, but their names don't really match up to their origins.
Using Sneak before Sneak Attack is fine, I guess, but the names are derived from positional attacks in XI, not from other abilities.
am i missing something, or where are these skill infos?
