24 hour patch in this day and age?

Then you haven't played many mmo's at all, Every MMO ive played has had a 24hour patch more than once. Do you even MMO bro?

This is to be determined, actually. Adding a new class doesn't make it a large patch for example, the data is already in the game. Now if it comes with hundreds of quests, tons of end-game content and tons of low and mid level content? Then it's a patch larger than anything introduced thus far. Otherwise, sadly this patch is quite small until we see what's in the patch notes. Remember, the literal main draw to this patch is the new class (which is only a handful of quests), Shiva and Final Coil.

We get -- New Job, New Class, New Coil, New Primal, New quests, More housing, SCOB unlocked, New Crafting reciepes (for all crafts), Rev Toll will be updated, the list goes on.

Yes, a much larger patch than we have seen thus far.

Why is it 24hour maintenance? Because once they put it in the game they have to test it too...
