Verry nice idea indeed. They should add some cool animation too when you sign someting, for exemple: weaver, you see the hand weaving your name, blacksmith you see a hammer stamping your name letter by letters into the red hot iron. that would add some epicness to the crafting

YoshiP's recent comments regarding gatherers and crafters stated that the aim is to have crafters take satisfaction in having other people use their crafted items. What better way than to have that crafter achieve fame and recognition through custom comments and signatures.

Is it? I must have glossed over that part. The dev post did say that such a feature would only come after server fixes, and since 2.0 is when the servers are "fixed", I would assume that they could implement this at that time.
