[Maintenance] All Worlds Maintenance (Oct. 27-28): Later Completion Time

Regarding the previously announced all Worlds maintenance to accompany Patch 2.4, the timeframe will be changed as follows:

Before change:
Oct. 27, 2014 12:00 a.m. to Oct. 28, 2014 12:00 a.m. (PDT)

After change:
Oct. 27, 2014 12:00 a.m. to Oct. 28, 2014 1:00 a.m. (PDT)

Maintenance duration times are calculated taking many things into account, such as login numbers and server load during various times of the day, the scope of the update content, and the nature of the work to be performed. However, we received feedback from our players which stated that the one hour gap between the originally scheduled maintenance’s end time and the weekly reset time may result in a rush of player logins, potentially causing server congestion and general chaos. For this reason, we have decided to extend the maintenance end time by one hour. Thank you all for your various feedback.

That's kind of part of why it's that timing - to make sure no one gains a full "advantage" last second. Cap out now, start fresh with everyone on tuesday

Poetic Tomestones aren't even in the game yet, how do you plan for them to do that?

It was delayed by an hour because the maintenance came up 1 hour before the weekly reset. As a result of that there could've potentially of been an issue of a massive number of players attempting to log-in during the 1 hour window to try and get as many Poetic Tomestones as they can before it resets for the week.

1 hour-delay is the easiest, most drama free thing they can do, and I think the majority of the players, for once, support a 1 hour delay to maintenance. Extra Hour in bed no problem^_^
