Rogue/Ninja gear and clothing

With the new class/job coming, I'm just hoping to have the new rogue outfit and gear maintained up to 200%, just like the gear from any of the existing classes on the game.
I'm currently working on upgrading the crafting skills.

Anyone think its wise to do such a thing, or will it be best to leave it at 100% (npc repair)?

You will likely be replacing gear during the levelling process faster than you need to repair it, especially if you're specifically crafting sets for every 5/10 levels or something. Just take some Dark Matter with you and repair it as needed.

What SongJohee said. You'll be swapping out gear before it breaks. I crafted a HQ level 10 armor set for DoW and have it waiting - don't forget to grab the cactuar earrings from the itinerant moogle if you haven't already. Otherwise you're waiting for a bit to have that slot filled.

lv1-15 can be done while just up-cycling your weapon and taking gear from the quest line.

At lv20 you can by the GC Soldier's Set which lasts through Brayflox which drops a set you can then wear until you're ready to start gathering AF.

I don't know what the concern is. 200% or 1%, it's the same. There's no bonus to stats or anything for being repaired higher. So npc repair is perfectly fine.

Ok, I apologize for what I've been saying.
What I might do, is continue crafting in whatever city state I'm in, as well as working towards jobs in DoW/M (ninja is one aim, as all my DoW classes are currently at 15). I may start on a first DoL class if I can.

A good rule of thumb is to not even bother repairing gear until it reaches about 10% durability.

Yes that ROG outfit is crafted though I can't figure out which set in the notes is that set.
