I do know a lot of good healers, yes. We did wipe a few times while we got the strat down, but having competent players with you is definitely a plus. We were also in voice chat, so that made things a LOT easier.
well, that's why I also mentioned to stand in the neuro link with the tank. A plummet on the tank (be it MT or OT) is barely a dent in the armor. But but but that is pressing one extra button for no reason or whatsoever... And frankly speaking, unless he has the macro with sound effect to signal Twin had been provoked, most people don't expect that move, therefore not ready to react and the moment Twin flys over to the party neulink, PLUMET is on the face even with the MT trying to take it back. Don't do it unless it is a MUST if you don't want people have a glance at you for doing so unnecessarily.
Right? Plummet is pretty much a joke unless it immediately follows a DS (which you should usually have a cd up for anyway). The one that comes after the AOE at the phase shift can be problematic without alert healers, though.

Hmm I can hardly call it a problem. The transition won't take even 50% of the tank's health, still very capable of surviving a plummet. Heck, they can probably soak up another plummet! Chest bumping Twintania is something a tank can easily handle. Jokes aside, it's completely fine taking a bit of damage during/shortly after the transition. Whatever happens in that phase is either dodged or will instantly murder you, tank or no tank. A single regen from the white mage or some fairy oil massage* will get you topped off before the phase is over.
*I pray all of you have done the Manderville quests...
