24h maintenance and gardens

Inquiry for the community reps and/or general public.

o.0 2.4 patch is apparently twenty-four hours long. Will garden status be frozen during that time, or will the timers continue to run on anything we have planted?

We've got eight onions in the garden at the moment, kinda worried they may wither during the server downtime. Information about garden status during the maintenance would be greatly appreciated.

Water before maintenance. They'll be fine.

They will likely have the purple aura, but thats quickly fixed by watering again.

It's not that simple. Not everyone can be on until the moment the maintenance starts and on the moment it ends, which is the only way to keep it 25 hrs apart.

Like others have said, your plants wont die till ~48 hours. Water right before you log off, and then water right when you get on. Should be fine.

Hope someone can get back to us about this. It may not be possible to water just before the servers go down...

This is a good thing to know in general regarding maintenances. I really hope a community rep can get back to us with information on this.

Garden does not die with first period of 24 hours of not watering. The plants look stinky purple. They die if it happens more than a few times per plant or a long period of time after it has appeared. All is good with the plantworld~~ Rejoice!

Not everyone will get to water right before maint begins, some people may end up hitting 30+ hours, I don't think plants can handle more than a few hours once they go purple.
