    Intercrossing and grow time

I just planted my first intercross (curiel root + broombrush) and now see that broombrush will grow more time than curiel root. Curiels already became well visible plants, broombrushes are still invisible. What to do when curiels will become ready - harvest them? And what to do with freed places - plant some other seeds?

You can pick them that will be fine. I don't know what will happen if you plant new plants i assume nothing will happen. I always pick my apricots before my glazenuts are finished growing.

Harvest them, plant something in the empty spots as soon as you can; preferably something that crossbreeds with the broombushes so you can keep a cycle going. I'd plant more curiels or sylkis buds since you may not get seeds from every single plant. Or with those specific plants you've used, you may get seeds you didn't want instead.

You can take advantage of the slower grow time of broombush by fertilizing only the curiels (or whatever intercross you are using). Harvest them when they are ready, and plant a new set (or another set like mimett gourd or whatever) in their place. You can get another set of intercrosses this way. It's the [secret] to getting many thavanarian onions seeds. (Whoops, there goes the market!)

You can also toss down almonds after your curiels. Almonds crossed with broombush produce broombush seed.
