That's right, she is way too slutty, thus she should be replaced by a large Rogadyn man wearing only a SUBLIGAR!

And he must constantly be doing a disturbingly provocative dance, as a motionless Lalafell stands nearby in shock, unable to blink in fear at the monstrosity before him.

May I suggest the dance done by the mamool-ja dancer that Gegeruju has you fetch. Failing that, wiggling. Lots of wiggling.

Also, i want that dance emote. And the wiggle one.

I said something about a geographic area where a certain standard of dress is endemic to that area as opposed to almost any other area of the world.
I was born and grew up in the Middle East and that statement is not really true.

There are a number of Middle Eastern countries where that is not the case, such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Dubai and Baharain to name some. While in some countries certain ways of dressing may be considered inappropriate in many settings, often times it is not against the law.

Also, enforced ways of dress for women, and men, is not isolated to the Middle East. You can find it amongst many cultural groups in many different countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, many ex-Soviet Union countries, many countries in Africa, and even amongst certain groups withing the US, just head down to Williamsburg in Brooklyn and see what the predominantly Hestetic Jewish community is wearing.

Point being, making blanket statements about any group of people, whether you define them by race, religion or geographic region, is something that should be avoided as it often leads to misinformation and stereotyping.

P.S. I am not defending all Middle Eastern countries or groups as I will be the first to admit that there are definitely people and places there that are utterly bassackwards, but then again that rings true for a lot of the world.

Pretty soon, without government representation, we adventurers will need to unionize. We've rised in the ranks of grand companies, eliminated grave threats to every nation state, but still no institution is willing to take a stand and confront the economic menace Rowena represents!

However, saying something is endemic to an area does not mean that it is the case always in that area, nor does it mean that it doesn't exist in other areas. Regardless of whether everyone there oppresses women and their dress or not, you are more likely to find it on a grander scale in that area of the world than in others.

However, it was not racist which is what I was being accused of and what I'm defending

Rowena caused the Hunts! She offered the mythology gear to the grand companies at a discount and then orchestrated the release of dangerous monsters in every part of Eorzea so we'd chase them down. All so she could eliminate her backstock of old armor! She knows she's getting the new models in and she wanted to unload her old wares!

    DEVIOUS!

You're not being a feminist by defending the sexualized way women are represented in games. Please also note that feminism defend that women should dress the way they want and not being called slut for that.
Lmao! I posted the pictures to poke fun over the obsession over how women dress. I remember Anita from a while back so I just wanted to be flip. I agree with you that women should dress how they want to without the hyper critique.

By the way, what is "gamergate?"

    Yes he can be.

The problem is not the word slut but that we as an American society view women expressing themselves sexually as "dirty".

Sorry scantly clad men are just as slutty. Do you not wonder why the modeling industry has men with six packs and revealing clothing now-a-days? It even "turns on men" (creates a sexual atmosphere).

    Anyway, I digress. Carry on.
