I like it. Some of the designs were starting to get a bit crazy and they looked terrible if you wanted to combine their appearance with other gear. More simplistic designs match well with other things

In the fanfest live letter they already said they will do upgrade items in final coil so its already half true. You can probably assume the upgrade items are comming in CT3 in 2.5 as well to let casual players catch up.

i think thats what thell do like they did with2.38 allowing people to get sands and oil from ST, it would make sense for 2.5-part 2 to do the same for the new tomestone

No. Poetry and Poetics are two different words.
Poetics is the art of writing poetry. That is what the Japanese word they chose translates to.
It will only be changed to something else as a stylistic choice, and very unlikely that it's gonna be changed since the English equivalent was delivered by Koji himself.


On topic of gear, goddamn that WHM set (and the weapon!) looks amazing. I thought High Allagan was pretty good, but this is blowing it out of the water.
