PS4 or stick with PC and Controller

I am kinda hyped for 2.4 and wondering if I should nab a ps4 and upgrade my ps3 version so i can chill out on the couch, or should I just stick with the PC and a controller and just get a more comfortable office chair?

Why would you buy a PS4 if you already have a PC? Unless you have some really exclusive games you want to buy from it. Or unless your PC would perform worse than a PS4, but in that case you should get some new parts or a new PC.


I have PC + controller and it's the most relaxing combination.

Nothing wrong with having both options, but as someone that has both I will say that I rarely use the ps4 version. Unless you're really into console gaming and want some ps4 exclusives somewhere down the line, maybe get that chair.

the PS4 is for FF-type 0 and FFXV and KH3. But yeah my pc is pretty strong at the moment. I was just thinking to get it out of the way. Just fishing for some anecdotal stories of players and their setups.

I already have a PC but I don't play this game on it. I have a PS3 for that (not kidding). If there comes a game where I have to have a PS4, then I'll probably upgrade to the PS4 version, but like hell I'm going to play on the PC.

All that said, go with what you're comfortable with. You can use a controller with every version so there's really not much difference aside from graphics and options set.

I like the couch, with my surround sound, playing on my PS4. The fridge is 30 seconds away for snacks too.

You don't have much longer to upgrade that ps3 version to ps4 for free. That service ends on the 31st of December iirc.

Only you would really know what is comfortable for you. Both have their pros and cons. I just upgraded my ps3 --> ps4 version a bit ago but have played on my computer since 1.0. I just can't seem to get the controller gameplay down. Its foreign to me So I stick with a nice open room and extremely comfy computer chair, keyboard/mouse style.

I craft and gather on the ps4. Less controls :X But the bigger tv is a HUGE plus!!
