    Doesn't the ToS say that they may offer us optional or add-ons for a fee? If that's the case then it was there from the start.

    I think with all this extra money coming in they can afford to make the Egis awesome.... ;D

    I remember him going over this too and I definitely felt like it was in his plan, it probably was for a while - the whole looking at WoW mantra fits here. Although, it looks like they are pricing them cheaper so hey there is a bright side lol

    Cash shops - has been discussed on and off throughout the life of FFXIV: ARR. F2P - I do believe Yoshi~san is dead set against that.
