Striking Dummy Extension Idea

I know we've all run in to lousy players who can't ever seem to move out of all the AoE's or maybe they they're doing terrible dps because they can't maintain they're rotation whilst moving around. Ultimately it usually comes down to one thing; practice. Now we all know that striking dummies are very useful in practicing rotation, but anybody can stand in one place and do that.

What if XIV were to have more advanced striking dummes that would throw out random AoE's on the ground when engaged? Better yet, perhaps a striking dummy with settings to adjust the frequency and speed at which these AoE's appear. Maybe even settings that could be unlocked the further you advance in the "training programs" they have listed. For example, a setting that mimicked AoE mechanics of primals, even if it is to a limited degree.

Anyway, mayhap that is too far fetched an idea but I thought it would be a very useful tool for new comers and those who may be struggling on more difficult battles.

I like the idea.

I have sometimes thought what if they could add a specific dungeon or set of dungeons that gave you a performance report after you were done.
Rating you your performance at: Bad, Good, and Exemplary course these ratings would be class/job specific.

I know guildhest help new players with mechanic and other things but, it really does not tell them how well they did.

So players use the "Illegal" parsers out there to tell them how well they did.

I like the idea of perhaps Magitek Striking Dummies that will cast AoE's for better practicing instead of just hitting a static target, hopefully a Dev picks up on this :P
