Thread: Is the weekly reset time gonna change with 2.4?

I realized that judging by the scheduled maintenance for 2.4, it ends 1 hr before the weekly reset that we currently have today. I was wondering if this will be kept unchanged (therefore giving as 1 hr to cap the new tomestones) or will we get a new reset timer for our weekly?

As much as I'd love extra tomestones, I'd hate having to rush farming them with all the new content coming out, and while I can choose not to rush the extra hr before the reset, I'll probably always have this nagging feeling that I could have gotten a lot more than I have.

So yea, can we get any clarifications on what the plan is, with the reset?

(would be funny if someone cleared T10 within the first hour and zoned out and cleared again after reset lol)

You get 1hr to cap before reset lol. They only changed the time in which resets were made once because they wanted to relieve stress on the servers and as far as they have said they have no plans of changing the weekly reset again.

30 minutes before the maintenance end, they will announce that it need 1 hour longer

I don't think you will be able to max out though. So many reasons for this; if the patch server went up late, heavy traffic resulted in slow download, extended maint., wife aggroed, etc. lol

They're not going to change a weekly thing based on a one-time thing. Why would they have any interest in whether the first reset is an hour after maintenance or not?
