    inactivity time out auto log out not working

    i have been in the game and inactive for more than an hour on the alt and i was not auto logged out. the inactivity log out does not work. this will cause unnecessary overhead, loss of available connections and session slots. please fix it. the fix will eliminate the unnecessary maintenance shutdowns

    They removed the auto-logout in patch 2.2. It's not a bug.

    They removed it because they expanded their server capacity to be able to handle the load. The only reason the auto-log out function was added before 2.2 was to prevent players from AFKing so that they wouldn't have to deal with trying to log in when they came back to the game.

    Because it's not necessary anymore. There wasn't one there to begin with. Then they had all the server stability trouble at launch. People were leaving themselves logged in just because if they logged out, it might be days before they could get back in again. So SE put in the auto-logout in a hotfix. Servers were improved, and people stopped staying on 24/7, things got stable enough to remove it, so they did.
