Now now, lets not turn this into a flame war over who got better friends or not.
Looking over some details about the nerfing of SCoB like the T2, if you get hit by voice or shriek you no longer die when being hit. If thats the case wont it make the content harder, in the way that if you face the party or the MT of the group and you get the next voice rotation. Unless you are on voice com, how will you be able to type fast enough "hej I got voice, move from my LoS" and then if you are unlucky and get the short-voice which last 5-6 seconds, type warning and then people who might not notice you have voice need time to react.

I don't know about you, but insulting people does NOT work at all to get them to do anything. Where as reducing the barriers and difficulty like what SE has done and what SE will do for BCOB will help somewhat. I do not know why people are so upset about SCOB being made more accessible with final coil to take its place.

I've helped people 1-shot T5. I know it is not impossible. But the odds of getting group is so low that you need to wait weeks upon weeks to get that clear for 1 person. That is the problem. I've been trying to help people in my FC get T5 clears, but even that is crap shoot, because we often need to PF a couple of other players, or schedules don't line up, the person that needs it is not on or vice versa or the tank is missing or both healers logged off for the night. Getting the group is actually harder than Twin, Raffy, Melusine, Avatar and Nael combined.

I am the friend that is trying to help my FC members. But you can't do it with just 5 to 7 of us. And you better not put that PF up there asking for cleared only because they will start raging when the one member will trigger a myth bonus message. So your PF will be stuck there waiting, often you can wait and it never fills. Or if it does fill, it wipes a few times and people still rage quit or lag start creeping in on someone seeing that red DC symbol show up with increasing frequency. Getting the group is the harder part.

If there is an easier version of Coil, let no loot drop. Give some incentive to the players that... I don't know, communicate and know their roles and battles enough to clear said coil.

Nobody is going to want to do an easier coil for any reason save the loots and story. Really, the only option is to Nerf the current difficulty, otherwise it would be a waste of time and resources if they did do it.

I would welcome a nerf to COIL, but I am doing it for gear and story. If I cant get the gear then I am back at square one, trying to get a good group that wont derp on me or charge me money so I can get the gear.

People overestimate the difficulty of the second coil. It did take me a few weeks for T9, but with the amount of guides and skilled players there are in general, time and work will prevail... people are just too indolent to put in the time.

Effort of the team or effort of the individual? Because more often then not, its usually the team and not the individual thats not trying hard enough in my case. I do my role as DPS competently to were I wont die for a whole run. Its the team though that derps and gets me killed. Team being the generalized statement for everyone save me because they always end up doing something wrong such as poor positioning, tunnel visioning during conflags, not knowing how to get through snakes, messing up a divebombs, screwing up a twisters and not knowing how to deal with dread knights.

The only people in the group that knew each other were Sunie and Yunaspirit in that screenshot, they then made a PF, filled it with complete strangers and bingo.
