FFXIV Libra still broken

Somehow their companion app still doesn't support the ART runtime for Android, which I'm not sure if they got the memo is the only runtime supported on Android 5.0, being released in a few weeks. Has anyone heard any murmurings of SquareEnix finally doing something about this because as it stands I see this app as broken, I'm not running Dalvik for one freaking app and if it still isn't fixed by the time Android 5.0 comes out, oh boy, there are going to be some pissed off people out there.

I expect an update will come, but it may not happen right away. When iOS 8 was recently released, for example, they made a news post that basically said "the app doesn't work, but we'll fix it soon -- wait to upgrade if you can", and it took a few weeks after that for the update to be released. In the meanwhile, the app was completely non-functional on all upgraded devices. So, in light of that, I wouldn't necessarily expect them to release an Android update before the new OS is actually released, or even to coincide with it, just "soon."

(That said, this is sort of the risk of being an early-adopter for a lot of OS upgrades, whether computers, phones, or tablets.)
