How do I get myself into a party!!??

So I have been playing on and off since I got this for xmas 2010 and I have yet to be invited to a pt...for anything. I am 18 Gladiator and have plenty of FFXI experiance. I read some threads on how to use the party search feature but no matter whata, it always seems that not one stinkin result pops up when I do a search for No Purpose and any of my classes. What is the best way to go about gettin myself in a party or at least find some folks that are into pairing up for just killin mobs or questing? I am SOOO tired of wandering around alone....PLEASE ASSIST : P

Try posting in your world forum for a linkshell, that should help some at least for wandering around alone.

For partying I am a 23ARC and the only parties I have been in have been from /shouts in Ul'dah (R20+ though) - have you been there yet? If not I suggest you do, the second party I was invited to was from the same guy who is now my friend on my social list =).

Other than that I am afraid I am not sure, I'm sure some higher ranked people can help some more =>.

2. Shout in Uldah (be sure to mention ur rank and purpose, ie SP party)
3. Craft in meantime.
