front lines and the immortal flames

OK I want to start off by saying I was in the maelstrom and only switched to the flames because an item was selling for a stupid high amount if you are on my server you know what that item is. I thought I run front lines on the flames side until I'm able to switch again and why is it that the flames just can't win any matches? out of the 30 matches I've played so far I've only won 2. now I'm not saying I've won every match on the maelstrom side but I have won mors then 2

From my understand, NA flame team tend to be lazy and do not play to win game? Was discussion of this in other thread and many player tell me is either lazy and spend most of game with "do not tell me how to play game" attitude.

and many games i tried to tell them what to do, (i.e. go to mid in XX amount of minutes, attack Manor, etc) they don't listen or they rage back at me calling me names or to stop telling them what to do. one day a Flamer on my server sent a message to me telling me to stop telling people what to do and let them do what they want because they aren't hardcore pvp players. so i told him, well i tell people what to do because they're not doing the right thing and if you're not playing to win, then why are you queuing?

i'm off Flames now, i went back to Maelstrom, but yea, that's the kind of players that are on Flames and i feel no sympathy when they lose whatsoever. in fact, when i play BRD or BLM i go out of my way to make sure i kill every Flamer on sight because i know they're a bad making the game miserable for their comrades.

and you're correct, there is no fix for laziness. i don't know about the other data centers, but there's alot of that on Primal. i seem to think the JP servers tend to have more serious players who want to look good, so lazy playing isn't encouraged or accepted.
and this isn't even touching the tip of the iceberg

Here in Exodus, its the opposite. Flames have stepped up their game and learned to work against other teams with changing their strat. Same with Adders, and Storms just suck ass where they keep to the same strat that won their games from FL release, and like to scatter like hell. In my games, Storms are a joke.

I belong to the Flames and I've won more than 1/3 of the games that I've played. (100/289 -- Not a wide margin, but still.) It certainly seems to have been getting worse lately, but there are still times when we pull off multiple wins in a row...

Gor summed it up pretty well, but on top of that, I feel like all the kiddies and teens think Immortal Flames have the coolest name when they're choosing a GC, so they flock to it. It's literally the only way I can explain the complete lack of rational thought and general incompetence.

It is what it is though. Best advice is find people who actually play to win and roll with them. I think it's more fun that way anyway.

EDIT: Sometimes lack of healers is the issue, but most of the time it's really not. Will see a party with 3 healers get crushed all the same.

I don't think front lines is server based but data center based

Flames has gotten much better on Primal. Adder is by far and large the worst now.

With the influx of new players, it's very frustrating on "veterans" to be paired with new people over and over and over again. The main problem here is, FL is too complex for new pvp'rs. Yeah, it's not very complex, but it' seems that tactics are just too hard for the vast majority of new players, it really seems to take them far too long to get used to. For example, every game I'll see either A or C losing at their flag, and rather than move on and try take an OP or ST etc.. they usually just keep going until the end of the game, wasting an entire team. Likewise, if a flag isn't being attacked, the majority of players will just waste themselves away for the entire match rather than splintering into smaller groups to attack or assist elsewhere. It really just seems to much for the average player to comprehend... of don't even get me started on B... thats just an impossibility for new players. This is why I believe a much simpler, last strategic form of pvp is whats needed to create and maintain healthy PVP environment. I stopped WOW after WOTLK, but I believe a simple capture the flag like warsong gulch (how it was in wotlk) would be perfect. Far less strategy involved, far less players needed, and thus far less problems created.
