Correction of prices for optional items

Although I for one am not exactly pleased by the whole idea of the cash shop. I can also see positives in it being here too.
Like I read from a post earlier, glamour items are pretty much ridiculous at this point, items for solely glamour purposes are ridiculously expensive and not available to everyone.
I wouldn't mind spending a couple of pounds on maybe a cool shirt or a new looking bow, all at level 1 for glamour, perhaps even some different dyes.

But I really don't like the idea of sticking things such as the Odin mount in there which is pretty much a big part of the game in general.
Minions and Mounts are collectible items in-game, they are even displayed on our Lodestone and thus they shouldn't be bought for real currency.

Without the cash shop you would have been able to buy in-game (with gil, and not a lot of it) those same items from previous years. That's how it was working... until now.

Afaik you were only able to obtain the items for gil if you have actually received them previously from participating in the events. Meaning in case you discarded them you can re-buy them. But if you weren't there for the event you can't buy them at the Calamity Salvager. For example I never cared for the Horseheads back then and those are not available for me to buy.

And how about when you want to show extra support and appreciation?

Do you work for them? You sound like an idiot. Their is nothing good about having a cash shop. Other than the fantasias, and server transfer, anything else should be able to be earned in game. This cash shop adds the ability for them to remove content in the future, and just add it in the cash shop. Their is absolutely nothing good about this, and I won't support it.

I don't like the cash shop, but I could live with it if they were a bit more transparent. We can all guess at their motives, and probably be correct. If they just said something like, "People seem interested in paying money for in game items, so corporate has told us we need to make a cash shop and provide at least some unique items for purchase." I'd be fine. I understand perfectly that bringing in even more money than what they get from subs is only good (for them). I don't like wondering what else will make it's way to the cash shop though, whether the number and variety of exclusive items for purchase will eventually surpass the number and variety you can actually get in game, or if success in the cash shop will translate to changes in their development forecast and philosophy.

I 2nd your statement and go even furthure and say if anything is remotely added that has am impact on progression or things only get added to cash shop (meaning if they stop providing in game rewards such as mounts etc) or go F2P my sub ends and Im sure other players will cancel and leave as well.

Are you also putting out the pitch forks, because if you don't already have it, you will NEVER EVER EVER be able to get wind up dalamud or wind up bahamut? Because you "pay a monthly fee and are entitled to have everything handed to you?"

The ONLY thing I disagree with, the pricing of older event items.
I mean .. really? If you had said 0.50 per Pumpkin or MAX 1 for these ghost costumes. THIS is just lame. I have them already .. but I will never spent this much real money THIS kind of gear. If it would be special stuff that never was ingame but looks neat, or was in an older FF and is something to feel a but nostalgic, than yes.

That's the "replacement" CE 1.0 gift I call it, for not getting my Rites of Passage with my CE. It never came, I emailed SE a dozen times, they pretty much said I'm SOL and they would not do anything about it. NA couldn't get the cup, or the map, an apparently it was too hard for that 3rd party that printed the rites to actually, you know, print all of them and send them out to us.
