Is this beyond my means for a while?

So I really want the Augmented Evoker's Doublet, not the whole set but just the body item, but from what I have seen it is far beyond my means in terms of money.

Basically put I have I think only once ever made it as high as about 200k in Gil, whereas I am seeing people saying it will cost several millions just for the one item.

So as I said in the topic, is it beyond my means?

Look up the recipe on the lodestone database, buy the ingredients separately, find a a crafter friend, pass him the ingredients and a tip.

I don't think that the doublet is a craftable item, just a drop from a quest Primal Burdens. Also its listed as unique untradable, so I don't see how it can even be listed on the MB. The augmentation item though is available, and most likely expensive, unless you get a alchemist that can craft 3 star items.

A good chunk of the materials needed to make the Augment Synth items come from Auriana in Revenant's Toll (currently with Myth), purchased through the Beast Tribes, purchased with GC Seals, or are dungeon rewards. Take the time and farm what you can.

You will need some 3-star crafters for ALC, GSM, and WVR to have everything made.

430k for the finished products. will cost half that if you can find a crafter to craft the ingredients for you. Then maybe 100k-200k if you can find an alchemist to craft the final product for you cheaply.

Just basing it on my server... Gold Ingot and Cashmere Cloth makes it well over 200k when you add it with the rest of the mats, maybe if he saved up... but for my server it's about over 50k for both of those mats, just giving that radius of pricing. :x

So he'd probably wanna slowly gather the mats of the mats needed then have it crafted, he'll need double mats for crafting the mats too because he needs two Evoker's Attire Augmentation for the body.

By the way, if you're going to get Cashmere Fleece and all the other myth requiring items then you'll probably want to work on Ixali stuff so that you can just use their Ixali Oaknuts, that's if you wanna convert myth to sol when 2.4 comes around anyways. >.<

You have someone make you the attire augmentations of whatever job gear you're looking for or buy it then turn it in with the gear from your job quest.

i got all the mats myself, and had a FC member craft it for me.
so it doesn't really need to cost much.
i just wish ppl would stop putting a price on stuff, that you can get basically for free...like: omg novus costs millions!! no it doesn't...and same with augments; you can get materials yourself, easily. it's not like crafters are gonna charge you a mil, to craft it for you, when you got the mats...

farming 950 myth tomes and 50k grand company seals will cut down on most of the price. so you can buy rest of ingredients for 50k and then whatever you have to tip a crafter to make them for you will add to that. So if you farm and make friends it is not out of your reach.

Just wait, there is newer more powerful crafting gear being released soon, these items are going to be craftable by more people before long and prices will more than likely drop.
