Hey all,
I'm a good RL friend of Ashelyn's. I just wanted to let you guys know a couple things, and got her approval first of course. ^^ The concert, as Soken announced, was her debut performance. Though she has done many recordings, that was her first time singing in public let alone to such a huge crowd. Personally, and you can say I'm biased if you wish, I think she did a great job especially for a first performance. ^^ With that said, I just wanted to correct the incorrect name shes been given. She is actually Ashelyn Summers. If you want to hear some of her recordings look her up on youtube and I'll let her voice speak for itself!

Anyways, hope you all enjoyed Fan Fest, I know I did! ^^/

She did! And I hope she can sing Leviathan's theme for us next time! I was happy Ashelyn came back onstage after the encore. And knowing it was her first time now, its well deserved!

I guessed this was her first on stage performance which explained the nervousness in her voice. I thought she did great, its not easy performing in front of that many people.

She did wonderful! I'm a huge fan of the primal music and she sang them beautifully. That Ramuh was gorgeous, she hit all of those high notes. I loved it! And the "now fall" on Garuda was just perfect. Rock on! Would love to hear more soon. Keep up the fantastic work!

One thing I think that needs to be pointed out is that she did not have an earpiece. I am sure she can sing extremely well but when you can't hear yourself over the band it is hard to be right on key. Anyone who has heard someone singing along with headphones on has heard this first hand. So my hat goes off to her for sticking it out and being a good sport on the Leviathan bit.

I finally got a chance to hear some of her pieces and they're awesome. She had a bad night but I hope social media is forgiving and understands that what she did most of us cannot even aspire to. Had we been put in the same spot with a super loud band in a room with no acoustics we would have sounded worse, it is SO hard hit the right notes when you can't even hear yourself.
