The original Fan Fest announcement left many in dismay.
How do I attend with a job, with kids, with no monies?
Awesomely, SE listened to the community yet again and allowed everyone to participate via Twitch and a Twitch premium channel, for those who really wanted the Moogle Suit.

Thank You.

Preservering through the negativity and occasional name calling, our community representatives stepped up and beyond the call, trying to help those stuck at home be part of the show (which Koji-senpai completely stole).

That being said, for next year:
1) Please actively moderate chat. There is a difference between being loregasm'ed and being a complete jerk. Just as GMs need to show presence in game, so too should chat moderators.

2) Enable links. With moderation, this is possible. Being at home, links are the only way to see things that not on camera. I heard mention of an awesome Tonberry King cosplay, but everyone attempting to link TK got silenced.

3) Involve Twitch paying viewers more.
....a) Having Yoshida or another awesome SE leader step into chat for 15-30 minutes to just "shoot the breeze" would be cool. "/slow <seconds>" during vip chat so the screen doesn't scroll out of control.
....b) The camera should never go to a filler screen if players are doing challenges on the floor. Even without an MC / Announcer, we are very excited to see any and all game action. If that's an FC group doing the manderville waiting for que, so be it.
....c) Would it hurt to give 1-2 minor prizes to premium live stream viewers? Posters, Moogles, t-shirts, mouse pads. Hell, many would be happy for anything signed by a SE FFXIV team member. Why? Cause we seriously love each one of you, from Mr. D to The Primals. Simple letters with stickers enclosed would make many a great day.
