Basically, what people are saying when they tell SE to "rotate" is akin to this: "Instead of 632,200 people being able to play, let's make it so 3,200 people can play." What sense would that make?

Hii! I too hate that they always have the maintenances the same time. But we have been making threads about this everytime they have a maintenance and people will always reply with
"its always gonna hurt some peoples free time, deal with it"
These people are kinda stupid though cause they don't realize that this affects us EVERY TIME but since it doesn't concern them they can be rude or inconsiderate.

Please SE put the maintenance start maybe 6 hours later than you do now, SOMETIMES, so that we don't have to deal with your 40-maintenances-after-a-patch-fixes every time.

It's not a matter of intelligence, it's a matter of common sense:

Do you affect the LEAST amount or do you AFFECT MOST OF YOUR PLAYERS? Which is the wiser decision? Calling people stupid for using common sense is kind of..... and not to mention, you state they're the rude ones?

Its easy to say when you don't get affected. They should rotate the maintenance so those of us working late and getting up early to play (which is my case) don't lose an entire day of playing every maintenance.
IT shouldn't matter if it affects more people since we are paying the same subscription as everyone else. So why not just rotatate maintenance times between 3 different times.

What you're suggesting makes as much sense as asking your local grocery store to have their closing hours "rotate" so you can shop there once you get back from your late shit ... :P After all - you're paying the same price for the groceries like anyone else there, right? And who cares about the other 10 or even 100 times MORE people who couldn't shop there that day because it was closed during the common, most busy hours, so they can make it "convenient" for you. Do you understand it finally??

"Take a group of 30 players, tell them that they don't get to play one day a week from then on so that the 70 other people can have a better experience, sooner or later those 30 will get fed up. Alternate/rotate those 30 people throughout the full 100 so that everyone has equal chances and equal off time and no one will be hit anywhere near as hard as those 30 initially mentioned were."

While true, it's more like:

"Take the NA, JP and EU playerbase, tell them they can't play so the Australians can play."

As said, it simply makes the most sense. It used to be Noon PDT, which affected...most players.
