The schedule is 4pm-7pm JST, it cuts into a lot of prime time for the JP userbase too(as well as everyone else from that timezone). It is during a time when NA is sleeping and they get up around the time the servers are up.

I think the maintenance times highly favour NA players and if they change the times they will get the rest of the NA playerbase whining on the forums.

What maintenance times? There is only one time, barring the handful that started an hour early. I'm sure people in japan that normally play at those hours are equally irritated by their normal play schedule being interrupted for every maintenance, emergency or otherwise.

They could easily push it back by 6 hours and still not affect that many people since it'd be starting at 10pm in japan, and 6am-2pm for NA/EU depending where in those areas you lived. Neither are high population times since people are usually getting ready for sleep (in japan) or getting up for or are at work (NA/EU) at those hours.

We aren't asking for the time to be permanently shifted, just for it not to affect the same people every single time.

If you remember, they did play around with the maintenance times. They used to happen during the JP day time so they accommodated to JP players and the English forums was again, NA players whining about maintenance times.

As blunt as this may sound, this time affects the least amount of people worldwide, I am in Hawaii so these times also cut into my primetime as they start at 9pm HST, that said I would rather they fix than let the game go to crap with glitches and bugs.

But you see a few hours ahead or back would not effect the vast majority. Just the people that are always effect by the exact same time, time after time again.

Yeah it sucks for us 3rd shifters. I know how you feel but I also understand the emergency maintenance schedules. After 3, 13 hour overnights, all i wanted to do is spend my night off playing. But sadly its how it is for us.

Its not about the frequency of maints, but when they are. Its always the same time, so it always screws up the same people. Not hard to understand

Well original at launch maintenance were 11 am pst and weekly reset were every Monday. So they listened.

I'm sure they picked those times since that when there's less people on on average. Still, I prefer it if it started 2am pst
