Scroll down on the Healer forums page... theres a few whm help posts floating around.
Your quesiton is too vague, Dwyne. Like, what do you want to know? Playing White Mage is one of the classes that has no typical guide- or handbook.
Generally as I have noticed on my way to 50, the preferred priority for healing is tank, healer and then dps.
What I am looking for is basically priority of abilities so as to maximize my party up time and be able to sneak in some dps.
I have already read everything I can find on this board, just wondering if there might be more information for me or if I basically need to wing it from party to party.
Considering you're a white mage, there aren't a lot options available for you to sneak in some DPS:Generally as I have noticed on my way to 50, the preferred priority for healing is tank, healer and then dps.

In general you can just Stoneskin the tank, Divine Seal + Regen on the tank. While you're on global CD (because Regen is instant) you can use Cleric's Stance here. You could Regen first and Stoneskin afterwards, no real difference tbh. Once in are in cleric's stance there are two approaches:
Keep casting spells till you need to switch back to healing.
Or:
Stay in Cleric's Stance and use Benediction instead to allow you to stay in Cleric's Stance a bit longer.
U can wing it , or u can fly it.Generally as I have noticed on my way to 50, the preferred priority for healing is tank, healer and then dps.

Either way just make sure u look good either way.
Don't know that there is any specific set of abilities for WHM. I mean, it depends on the dungeon/boss strategies. How much healing the other healer is doing (in an 8-man). The biggest factor is probably how well your party members avoid or protect themselves from damage. If tanks use their buffs at the right time and keep agro, dps avoid aoes, they're properly geared, etc. All those little things that your party does will minimize how much healing you have to do.
In general - Use Cure to heal. Then the Freecure when you get one. Medica II in fights where the group takes damage on big AOEs. Regen on the tank(s) [but not in between battles or you will draw agro when he pulls the next mob]. idk, Stoneskin at the beginning of a boss fight can give you time to DPS at the early stages. If you have Swiftcast (lv 26 THM ability), add it to your hotbar. If someone needs to be res'd, use swiftcast then res for instant life. If you don't have it, level THM and get it. ??? I haven't really done too many of the "high-level" stuff, but that's the basics for any fight.

I have all cross class abilities.
Okay this is useful information.
Thank you all trying to be a decent healer for my fc.
Thanks
Healing is all going to depend on your party setup and the fight or dungeon you're doing. Some tanks you'll be good to throw up a Stoneskin mid-battle, switch to Cleric Stance, and get a 2-3 good Stone II's in before they're even at 75% and you need to switch back. Hell, if you have a really good tank you can even run up to a group of mobs in a dungeon under the above circumstances and throw out 2-3 Holys.
That's not all cases, though. For me, a general rule is I try to keep Stoneskin up on myself and the DPSs at all times, so long as I'm not doing it when I should be curing. It's just that much more added buffer if they eat an AOE or can't/don't dodge an attack. Don't be afraid to Stoneskin a tank mid-battle even if you don't plan on DPSing, that Stoneskin on a tank with 8k HP will give you a buffer of nearly 1500 damage to do other things, like heal up a DPS, remove debuffs, raise someone who may have died, that kind of thing.
How 'deep' do you want to go?
If you want to do EX primals, second coil, basically all the "hard" content FFXIV has to offer... learn the fight patterns really well. You need to be able to anticipate stuff happening and already be in motion or casting. Although out-of-game guides can help, a lot you'll only learn by doing.
As a practical matter, try solo healing some EX primals (say, titan and leviathan? Or to start off a bit easier, just garuda...). When you get that down, you're doing very well.
If you're just intending to play more casually... well. Make sure to avoid oneshot mechanics and such but pretty much just heal as the damage comes. Stoneskin on DPS and other healers during downtime. Regen on the tank or anyone tanking if you can spare the GCD. If you made it through Aurum Vale leveling up, you should be fine in any level 50 dungeon as long as you're geared for it. HM primals take a bit more dodging but they're still pretty easy.
