2 Types of Coils (Idea and what you think?)

Well i made this topic because i wanted to know what the community thought of having 2 types of coils a casual one for story without "hard or memory mechanics" but you wont get anything useful from there and the normal coil where how it is now where get loot and such + story.

I was just talking about this with my friends and i just want to know what you guys think?

I'm all for it. However, there will be a new complaint: "we pay but we can't get all the gearz". In the end they just want the gear.

Those coil difficulty threads are just implicitly saying they want the best gear in game, but not with the effort it requires atm.

Yeah, i was just thinking if they want they gear they can go do the other coil and form a group because i really want to know the story in coil but i can't really get a group in my server. Im not asking to make it easier just a alternative for those who dont mind not getting gear but there to know the story at least and those who are raiders can do the other for gear they want.

I could go for a story version of Coil, sort of like how we already have normal modes and extremes for primals, the story modes don't provide any gear and just provide plot, while the extremes give loot.
A story version might also help people practice more forgiving versions of mechanics seen in the challenging version.

I guess you guys didn't know but they are already developing a Coil Story Mode.

While I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with a story-mode version of coil, it seems kind of goofy to spend developmental time on something that will have no replay value. I guess they could add it to duty trials, i really don't know. As far as using it to practice for the more challenging version, I don't feel that story-mode versions really prepare you for their harder counter-part honestly. Ramuh HM, for instance, doesn't really even come close to even preparing you for ex mode outside of giving you a general idea of what can happen.

I agree, i just find it a bit annoying how some are unable to see it just because it has reach a point that not many people are making statics anymore and when they do make some they generally brake quickly.
