With a new primal (Shiva) comes a new mount. I wonder what the name will be...

So, I pointed out before that the names of the primal mounts are taken from some form of mythology or are a reference to something:

Garuda: Ancient City
Ifrit: Greek Mythology
Titan: Norse Mythology
Levi: Irish Mythology
Ramuh: This one shares names with several things, mainly several star constellations.

I did a quick google search on horses related to ice, nothing came up but it wasn't a thorough search. Then, I came across these names:

After browing through the pages for each link real quick, my thoughts for a name would be something of the last two (Ymir, or Yuki-onna).
Some of these have a story behind them that's a little more...chilling than others. Such as a man who kidnaps children (I don't think that would be a good choice). As for Ymir, there seems to be little relation to ice there.

Now, as for Yuki-onna, this, according to the wiki page, is a female figure from Japanese Folklore. Shiva, being female obviously, and the company being Japanese (obviously), I feel this name might be quite fitting.

I am really looking forward to finding out where the name comes from. What are your thoughts on the current names? Any thoughts on a more appropriate name?

Ymir would be interesting since that was also the name of the whelk boss at the start of FFVI. His connection to ice is strong also since he's the ancestor of all Frost Giants in Norse mythology. Now that I think about it...why did the FFVI guys name an electric snail after a poison/ice aligned Norse God? Lol

Mount should be fenrir. It'll be easy to mistaken shiva and levi mount if they go with pony.

Ah, okay. That's interesting. I guess that makes that one quite likely too then since they do like to reference other games in the series.
