Feature Request: Vote out misplaced posts

Given the number of misplaced posts (to the point that this very board is flooded with posts completely unrelated to the forums and various websites)

It appears we haven't had any forum moderators visit the sub-boards in some time (outside the general discussion, bug report and tech support boards).

I suggest this feature request in the interests of keeping the content and topic of threads within the correct part of the forums; making it easier to find relevant posts for both other posters as well as dev's.

The ability to report threads in the wrong board or an option to vote on locking or removing such threads would be appreciated.

By the way, just a friendly reminder too anyone reading this, despite the misleading name this board is for suggestions and feedback on the website and forums. There are two stickied posts at the top that clarify this. No, ma'am. Since a while ago this forum had its name changed exactly to accept general feedback from game too. I'm just not sure why they didn't fix the sticky guidelines still.

Annd allowing players to remove/move topics is never a good idea. I'd rather SE accepting volluntary moderator assistants only to keep topics in their correct forum instead.

Only thing I've seen from devs regarding what should be posted here are in the stickies, both of which say no game feedback. What I'm unsure of is why they didn't rename this board. We already have a whole group of boards dedicated to game feedback, making this one into some 'general feedback' section would just cause them to be even more of a ghost town.

Do you have a link that would confirm a change of stance regarding this board?

(And I suppose deleting the topic would be fairly extreme. I'd originally intended to suggest a way to vote on moving threads to the correct board instead of close or delete them. This way the thread isn't removed/shutdown.)

There is the Gilderin post regarding forum update. The very same one that removed the "site" from this forum's name also says its no longer restricted to site feedback.

I'm afraid I've found the post you refer to, and it only mentions changing the forums name; zero mention on changing this boards topic.

I still stand by my suggestion regardless of the purpose of this specific sub-forum. Too often posters completely disregard a boards rules and post wherever they please. Its nearly impossible to find specific dev posts when they are scattered over multiple sub-forums, rendering the board specific dev trackers practically useless. Gameplay feedback posts belong in their related Gameplay sub-forum, not general discussion where they get buried under the useless complaints and drama posts of the hour. Proper moderation of this forum is severely lacking, happenstance at best.

Note that when I say forum I am refering to the entirety of the FFXIV forum, not the feedback board specifically.
