You're alright.Runs through the cash shop thread, a byproduct of late capitalism, while screaming "FROM EACH ACCORDING TO HIS ABILITY TO EACH ACCORDING TO HIS NEED" while using centralized leadership methods to distribute loot among raid groups. The red plague cannot be stopped. The world is over.
I also prefer the system where previous years' event items are available for in-game currency rather than an official RMT store.
Because minions, mounts, and outfits are frequently used as quest rewards in FFXIV, putting them into an official RMT store feels more like a pay-to-win scheme, even if they don't offer ability bonuses. I'm less concerned about subscriber rewards because anyone who plays the game will get them automatically over time.

p.s. I'd never seen this before but this is beautiful. Be nice to Yoshi-p and the dev. team because they are awesome and work hard at making beautiful things for all of us!Quote Originally Posted by Naoki_Yoshida

I absolutely agree, along with the quote you quoted. I know that there have been some heated debates within this thread, but I honestly cannot say enough how impressed I am with how kind and constructive everyone has been in this thread. I absolutely appreciate everyone's opinion and the attitudes that have been taken.
Hopefully this can show the Mods and Devs that we're all very serious about this issue. We're not just coming on venting our frustrations. We're presenting well constructed arguments with sound and logical points. This is an issue, some for it some against it, but it is something to be taken into consideration either way.

Still... they should put these past event items back in the game as it should be![]()
Hrmm... I suppose, but are you not paying for access to the games' content, which event gear was intrinsically part of? I get you are playing devil's advocate, it's a good conversation to have regarding what we, the players, feel is fair in the cash shop. FOR EXAMPLE: 25$ for a mount is highway robbery. that alone is more than the collectors edition premium you paid for a patch which is what 1/100th the content?
Welp, looks like I was right.
Happy gaming everyone and thank you for all the other SE projects you'll be funding.
Past event items? No keep them out of the cash shop because it's not fair that some people weren't around the first year and couldn't snag them.
New vanity items that aren't holiday exclusive? Yes put these in the cash shop.
I'm signing the petition.
Thank you so much for your support. Please spread the word. We're growing in support every day. Obviously, I understand for these pumpkin heads this year it's already too late, but hopefully with the more support we get, the devs will be more inclined to not follow along this road for future implemented items. ^^
