Because at that time you'll be in the new gear sets of final turn of bahumut and the lesser people will not and the cycle continues after each patch. >.>Oh get off of it, are you seriously implying raiders who cleared content while it was relevant put no effort into it? Just waltzed in with their shiny mysteriously gained High Allagan weapons and 110 gear and oneshot the fight?
People put weeks, months even, into tackling this content, we went into Second Coil at i90 on DAY ONE and PUSHED OURSELVES to clear it.
Why then should those rewards get pawned off to people less competent and less dedicated? That idea is LUDICROUS.
Either put the effort into clearing content, or don't even look at it.

Casual players already have access to i110 gear without raiding and would have access to even higher ilevel gear once 2.4 comes out through new tome gear. Uncapped soldiery will also be a thing by that point so you can't even use the "B-but the new players!" excuse.
If they can't clear raids they don't need raid gear (Especially if they only want it for vanity purposes), especially when equal alternatives are plentiful in this game. All nerfing Coil does is push people's frustration down the line. People who still have not cleared T5 would not be able to clear T9 even if you deleted T5 as a fight and just allowed access into Second Coil for free. There is nothing forcing people to do Coil, it is not tied to progression aside from progressing to the next Raid.

Then they shouldn't of put a story behind any of the raids then, you know the trailer of that big red ball in the sky that a huge dragon comes out leave you thinking oh wait what happened afterward feelz and using youtube as an excuse doesn't cut it for some btw.Casual players already have access to i110 gear without raiding and would have access to even higher ilevel gear once 2.4 comes out through new tome gear. They already said they're planning on implementing Coil Story mode (Or something of that nature) for people who are interested in just the plot but not the fights.

True and people even complain about that even nothing never good enough for some players those type of players need to have it were they can artifically content gate other players they deem unworthy because of precious gear they earned even though it will be trash later on down the game development cycle but for those horrible lesser players will be picking up the scraps left after you.

The point isn't about "content gating" , w/e the hell that means, "unworthy" players. The point is, if you're going to make the content X way, KEEP it that way. What is the point of making the content a challenge for ANYONE if all you're going to do is make it easier?
As for the gear comment. Yeah. I think it's ridiculous that the gear I'm busting my ass for is worthless 3 months down the road. I'd actually like to USE it for more than a few days before I'm GRINDING AGAIN for the NEWEST shiny thing. But, because they allowed those of us from 1.0 to keep our 50s and because 2.0 was limited on new EOG or Story Mode content, this is the dilemma you end up with.

As for unworthy it was in responds to another player that you so kindly left out it called using satire/sarcasm toward another individual, meaning using their view point by placing words they have conceived about players that are not of my own views. On the second point, If you haven't played many mmo which I <assuming> you haven't totally opinion their you would have already understood this is a common factor in most standard mmo and isn't as a big nerf as people make it out to be I.E black knighting. The hardcore players are still going to have their hard raids while the rest keep playing catch up, but elites cry dalamud if any changes happens it a common theme for hardcore end gamers in any mmo. What?

So then ... why not just wait till the content is nerfed and EVERYONE can waltz through with easy? Screw it. Why make the content a challenge at all?!
I haven't even cleared T7! But you don't see me joining the "I wants it easy mode cause hardcore is way a head of me." /cry C'mon. Either learn to play the game or go play Candy Crush.
I can already tell the nerf "White Knights" are the majority in this "conversation."

It called having different types of gamers, I don't believe they just want to enter a fight and it one hit your done as people suggesting here I believe and use (I) because it an opinion based on one of many opinions or views is they want a little less mechanic heavy fights, but still gives a decent challenge just not to your standards of what you consider of a challenge perhaps. It is easy to throw around white knight in a forums setting, but also is such a thing is black knighting as I call it also this is just a game after all.So then ... why not just wait till the content is nerfed and EVERYONE can waltz through with easy?
