Abd of COURSE T1-9 is easy for YOU if you have Nexus/High allagan weapon and maximum current available iLvL thanks to soldery and high allagan. There still are people, who would have thought, that are not overgeared for every thing in the game.

Oh get off of it, are you seriously implying raiders who cleared content while it was relevant put no effort into it? Just waltzed in with their shiny mysteriously gained High Allagan weapons and 110 gear and oneshot the fight?
People put weeks, months even, into tackling this content, we went into Second Coil at i90 on DAY ONE and PUSHED OURSELVES to clear it.
Why then should those rewards get pawned off to people less competent and less dedicated? That idea is LUDICROUS.
Either put the effort into clearing content, or don't even look at it.

Casual players already have access to i110 gear without raiding and would have access to even higher ilevel gear once 2.4 comes out through new tome gear. Uncapped soldiery will also be a thing by that point so you can't even use the "B-but the new players!" excuse.

If they can't clear raids they don't need raid gear (Especially if they only want it for vanity purposes), especially when equal alternatives are plentiful in this game. All nerfing Coil does is push people's frustration down the line. People who still have not cleared T5 would not be able to clear T9 even if you deleted T5 as a fight and just allowed access into Second Coil for free. There is nothing forcing people to do Coil, it is not tied to progression aside from progressing to the next Raid.

It called having different types of gamers, I don't believe they just want to enter a fight and it one hit your done as people suggesting here I believe and use (I) because it an opinion based on one of many opinions or views is they want a little less mechanic heavy fights, but still gives a decent challenge just not to your standards of what you consider of a challenge perhaps. It is easy to throw around white knight in a forums setting, but also is such a thing is black knighting as I call it also this is just a game after all.

1 - Lore-wise Coil is supposed to be a fight to the death, you against an ancient enemy created to hold down Bahamut. All the complexity and the one-shot mechanics are to reflect it. You're not fighting some Corpse Brigadier, you're facing Godlike enemies.
2 - Do you wanna the best gear, then FIGHT for it.
3 - You dont need ilvl110 to finish coil. If you need gear to compensate for bad skills then you should practice your class more. Stop lying to yourself. Almost win is the same as failing, and you fail because you weren't good enough... YET. Beating a challenge requires effort.

This Special Snowflake BS is getting old. SE put Coil to be THE challange of the game, something for you as a gamer to feel proud about. If you're not supposed to get nice reward for beating the hardest, then better not even add anything. This fluffy community doesn't seems to want anything more challenging than faceroll hunts.

Either way, I didn't bother when they nerfed the first coil and nerfing the second won't affect me directly. What sadden me is the mindset of the "gamers" of today.The kinds like you doesn't want to play a game, you just wanna the shiny in the chest. Raiders are nobody special, the only one thinking they're special are the one who seems to be just "looking up to them", placing them on a pedestal and hating them for it.

Those "raiders" just have a different taste for game challenge than you and just like you they will defend the feature that interest to them. I couldn't care less if you can't finish the hardest content in the game, that's your problem, because I can finish it and that's all what matter to me, it affect me only when all the "gamers" come to the forums complaining they can't finish a boss because of rope jumping, because they have five jobs, a wife, 11 kids and two parrots to feed, because they hate interact with people, because their mouse don't click as fast as everybody else's and demand for "less punishing" raid fights. People that are so incompetent they can't even win a "scripted rope jumping fight".

i cleared TitanX, with ilv 73 blm, when ppl were crying BLM is the suckiest job you can take there, and demanding ilv 85+ ppl....and i was highest dps.
ilv don't matter, knowing the machanics, does.
only t8-9 have strict dps checks. 1st coil is easy with echo.
ppl cleared T6, in mostly ilv 90gear, when it was first introduced...so gear isn't what makes the fights easy.
