Booing when Coil2 Nerf was announced

Before any elitists disagree with me, please tell us the last time you voluntarily helped another player to run coil content without any expectation of a reward. Exactly.

Now, I don't consider myself elitist but, I'm not really a casual either. And I just helped 2 members, from another FC who, have been shat on by the so called "elitist" crowd and almost got them a 2 shot win in T5.

1-4 were cake of course. TY echo buffs and OP ilvl 100+ PT members. lol Point being, not EVERYONE is a dick because they enjoy challenging content. Now, there are members in my OWN FC. One I have been a part of and helped create from 1.0 that HAVE become pretty much assholes in how they treat others. Including some of our own members who have since moved on. But either way, it still doesn't mean the content should be "easy mode" for new people and casuals.

Part of the problem with this ENTIRE community is pretty much on point with what you mentioned. No one or VERY FEW people want to help. It's solo or carry me or make content easy.

I just wish they would add everything to the Duty finder from the get-go. I don't really want someone to hold my hand or give me hand outs, Simply put, I'm just no good at interacting with people, I just want to get in say "Hi everyone!", do the fight, lose, ReQ, lose, lose, lose, ReQ, lose, lose, ReQ, finally win and be happy about it, all at my leisure. No relying on other people to be on, schedules, drama. Just get in Q, lose or win and move on.

Could you not join learning parties? The party finder is really useful for said stuff.

You know, coil use to scare me. Never wanted to do it, but then going in there, I really enjoyed the fights and I too would hate to make them loose that feeling. They were clear about them still being hard, but its still not the same. Granted I'm not at the end yet, I've only touched five and six.

You really think its fair for 7 other people to have the fight NERFED on them because 1 person can't pull their weight? What the heck??? Now you are totally giving in to that 1 person, because Nerfing the entire fight is hurting the 7 other people who CAN clear it!!!

I get that concern, content changing to a less preferential way (opinion/perspective)- but you have to keep in mind that the hardcore/pros are not the majority. SE is trying to cater to both groups by keeping one hard and one manageably hard (challenging for those who may not be doing everything right or in a party of people like that).

Now I'm not going to say you have no right to be disappointed content is made easier/more manageable but that I don't think you're arguing for the majority. Anyway minorities have rights too, and you have the right to your opinion but not everyone is a Rogue, Hardcore, Ninja Gaiden, Dark Soul NG++++ player.

No, you're creating a better game for it. Why, exactly, is artificial difficulty a good thing? Why, exactly, is tying raid progress to the LEAST CAPABLE MEMBER, a good thing?

P.S. Just talking about how content should get nerfed like this is making me want to quit the game already lol... imagine how many would quit if the entire game got easier.
