On the plus side: Koji Fox just received the title "Everybody's Darling" and a Gilded Armor Identification Key.
She was, but it wasn't ALL her fault. she was clearly super nervous and did improve some as she got a little more into being there.

But the sound was just not meant for music, the microphones they had available, and the acoustics of the venue didn't seem at all suited to a concert.

Some people say why idolise someone who did what koji has worked on? Well I ask that person to think about the whole picture.

You have a favourite band you want to see and you pay money to see them, your scream and shout want to meet the band members get autographs etc. Same as with film stars you want to meet them, you have a favourite want their autograph picture taken etc. I could go on.

Computer games are becoming more of peoples lives, the production behidn them and tallent to make them keeps growing. More and more people now play video games than go to the cinema. More people buy video games than dvd / blurays of film. In fact in the UK it was reported in a newspaper article that video games outsold dvd's and albums and was the most purchased form of entertainment. The industry is now worth more than the film industry.

People want to idolise games and the people who produce them are part of them, like band members. Fan festivals put in front of the fans the producer like the lead person Yoshi P in this case, Koji is on stage translating and taking part and because of his publicity involvement is seen as a main man on stage. The fact that he pours charisma and and makes people smile with little jokes and the way he portrays himself on stage is exactly what makes him loved. Companies have to be carefull who they put to represent them outside of the office, and yoshi p and koji are 2 examples of where this has worked. FFXIVARR is not just the only one you now have video game music concerts think Nobuo Uematsu and you instantly think final fantasy, think Tommy Tallarico who is a video game music producer and brought us video games live. Gaming as a form of entertainment is now more than just a few bits on teh screen moving, its become a full sense experience of sound, vision and emotion that makes us want more and keeps us playing, so why not idolise those people that help give us those experiences?
